Lady Frogs Return to AP Top 25
Squad jumps to No. 24 after a 2-0 week

	Jeff Mittie and the Lady Frogs appeared in the AP Top 25 poll for the fifth time in the last six weeks Monday.

COMPLETE ASSOCIATED PRESS TOP 25 RANKINGS

FORT WORTH—The TCU women’s basketball team returned to the Associated Press Top 25 following a one-week hiatus with Monday’s latest release of the national poll. The Frogs are ranked No. 24.

TCU received 70 votes, two more than No. 25 St. John’s and 23 points fewer than No. 23 LSU. TCU’s highest ranking this season of No. 20 saw the squad receive 181 votes on Jan. 25. The team dropped out of the following poll after a road loss at New Mexico.

TCU went 2-0 last week with home victories over BYU and Air Force. The Frogs currently own a one-game lead in the Mountain West Conference standings after entering last week in a three-way tie with the Cougars and San Diego State. BYU fell to the Frogs in Fort Worth by a 64-40 count on Wednesday.

Next up for TCU is a nationally televised road matchup with Utah Wednesday night in Salt Lake City. The game, scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. CT, will be broadcast by CBS College Sports.
