ABOUT THE CONTEST
Friday's 7 p.m. game between No. 19 TCU (11-2) and Saint Louis (6-7) marks the beginning of Conference USA play for both teams. The Lady Frogs own a perfect 4-0 record against the Billikens, with their last victory coming on Valentine's Day 2003 by a 65-54 count in Fort Worth. Saint Louis comes into the contest riding a five-game losing streak that dates back to Dec. 18. The Billikens' last defeat was by a 65-62 count to Missouri Jan. 4. Saint Louis owns a record of 4-3 this season on its home court, the 2,200-seat Baubert-Eberhardt Center. SLU is led in scoring by senior forward Angie Lewis, who averages a shade under 18 points per game. She also snags over seven rebounds each contest. Classmate Kirsti Holloway, a guard, is the squad's second leading scorer with an 11.7 average. She is Saint Louis' most dangerous threat from three-point land, as she is landing 42.1 percent (24-57) of her attempts on the season. Senior center Stephanie Solomon also averages double figures with 10.7 points per game, and she contributes 6.9 boards as well.

TCU'S LAST TIME OUT
The 19th-ranked TCU Lady Frogs wrapped up their non-conference slate Tuesday night at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum with a 96-63 victory over New Mexico State. With the win, TCU moved to 11-2 on the year, giving the institution the most regular season non-conference victories in school history. NMSU dropped to 6-6 with the loss. The 96 points scored by TCU was the most this season, bettering the 95 it put up against Lamar Dec. 29. The Lady Frogs have now reached the 90-point plateau in three of their last four games, and they have tallied at least 80 points in six games this season. Last year, TCU scored at least 80 points in only three ballgames. Five Lady Frogs finished the game in double figures, led by Irvin's 24 points. She also grabbed 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season and rejected four shots. Shaw chipped in with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and hit all but one of her four attempts from three-point land. Ross tallied 14 points and added five assists and four steals. Lacy established a new career-high with 12 points and tied her career mark for helpers with eight. She also had three steals. Wynn was TCU's final double digit scorer with 10.
