POST-GAME NOTES
TCU-Oklahoma State
Dec. 18, 2007
Fort Worth, Texas--Daniel-Meyer Coliseum

TCU Head Coach Jeff Mittie
Opening statement
"I thought we played excellent tonight. I felt like this has been coming. I don't think this is a one game thing. I think we played extremely well tonight, but if you go back to Coppin State I thought we did some good things against a quality opponent that played in the NIT (in 2006-07). Florida on the road, that was a tough, tough loss for us but we came out of there feeling like we were closer as a basketball team. I did come out of Florida feeling like we were doing things better."

On the game
"I was extremely worried about this game just because I think Oklahoma State is an excellent team. I thought we played extremely well and they had a tough night. I thought our team did some things to hurt (OSU guard Andrea) Riley. I liked our adjustments on her. That's also the best passing I saw us do against the zone (defense), but I saw us do some good things against the zone down in Florida too. This is something I think we have seen coming."

On the play of forward Lorie-Butler Rayford
"I thought Lorie's performance was outstanding. I thought she was active all over the court. Offensively she found all the right spots. I thought we did a good job of finding her, but it was really her activity that made the performance."

TCU forward Lorie Butler-Rayford
On her performance
"I credit my teammates. They got me the ball. I just had to do my part and knock down the shots, and they did their part by getting me the ball."

On earning a big win after a 4-6 start to the season
"We all were happy. we got a win and beat a ranked team. We were all excited. We all really did well tonight, and that's the bottom line. It wasn't all just me. Everyone did well tonight, and it was fun."
