Team Notes
> The Lady Frogs lost their third contest in as many tries against a former Southwest Conference opponent this season (also SMU and Texas A&M).
> The loss snapped a five-game TCU winning streak over Rice.
Individual Notes
> Emily Carter scored a career-high 14 points and surpassed her previous high of five with 6:05 remaining in the first half. Carter went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in addition to pulling down a career-high eight rebounds.
> Lorie Butler-Rayford scored her 700th career point on a layup at the 10:38 mark in the first half. She currently sits on 709 career points after scoring 12 points Thursday.
> Moneka Knight, who totaled 10 points, dished out two assists and now trails current assistant coach Tricia Payne by only one for eighth place on TCU's career assists chart (261).
