POST-GAME QUOTES
No. 12/14 Cal-TCU
Nov. 23, 2007
Fort Worth, Texas--Daniel-Meyer Coliseum

Head Coach Jeff Mittie
Opening Statement
"I thought that when Cal made its push in the first half they just played very well. We really are struggling offensively right now as a team, and I think Cal is a very solid defensive team. They don't give you anything easy, and when we're just not knocking shots down, it makes it very tough.

"Teams go through different points, and we felt like early season we were pretty good offensively. When you struggle shooting the ball that changes the dynamics of everything. I think our team right now is just struggling with each player finding how to play to their strength.

On changing up the starting lineup
"Well, we're just looking for a spark. It really wasn't many minute changes, although there were a few. We just looked for a little different look and a little different spark. I thought that group that started, it was decent. I think the score was 10-9 and they did some good things. Cal then got hot and we didn't do a very good job adjusting to that."

Senior guard Adrianne Ross
On the team's offensive struggles
"It was frustrating, like coach said. It's just a frustrating part on the offensive season, but we'll get it together.

"We just need to get re-focused, go in there and stay positive. We know we have a good group of girls who can play. (The team needs to) just stay positive, get to practice, go to the next game and be ready."
