Team Notes
> TCU dropped to 2-3 this season, the first time it has been under the .500 mark this season. The Lady Frogs started the 2006-07 campaign 0-3, but were able to rally and earn their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

> The loss marked only TCU's second in its last 24 games at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

> TCU started a different lineup for the first time this season. Emily Carter, Shayla Moore and Micaela Younger each made their first starts of the season.

> Cal held the Frogs to a season-low 30.6 percent shooting, as well as a season-low 32 rebounds.

> TCU forced at least 16 turnovers for the fifth time in five games this season.

Individual Notes
> Emily Carter made her first career start for TCU and collected career highs in minutes (23) and boards (three), while equaling her personal best with five points.

> Adrianne Ross led TCU in scoring for the third time in five games this season with 14 points.

> Lorie Butler-Rayford led TCU with nine rebounds, marking her fourth game in five opportunities this season that she has collected at least eight boards.
