Team Notes
*TCU advanced to the second round of the Presesaon WNIT, where it will face LSU Sunday at 2 p.m.

*The Lady Frogs are now 2-1 in the Preseason WNIT, having also win in the first round of the 1999-2000 tournament.

*TCU won its season opener for the eighth time in nine years under Head Coach Jeff Mittie. The Lady Frogs suffered their only loss in an opener last season, 82-64, at No. 1-ranked Maryland in the first round of the BTI Classic.

*TCU extended its winning streak when holding a lead at halftime to 24 straight games. The Frogs last lost a contest it led at intermission Jan. 25, 2006 against BYU.

Individual Notes
*Senior Helen Roden set a career high with 18 points. She recorded her previous best of 14 points twice as a junior in 2006-07, with the last effort coming against Air Force on Nov. 11, 2007.

*Freshman Helena Sverrisdottir became the second true freshman in as many years to start in her first career game for TCU. Shayla Moore made her only career start last year in the season opener against No. 1 Maryland.

*Sverrisdottir nearly recorded a double-double in her first contest as a Frog, finishing with 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds.
