MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP--SEMIFINAL ROUND
San Diego State-TCU
March 14, 2008
Las Vegas, Nev.--Thomas & Mack Center

Team Notes
> TCU's record dropped to 21-11 overall this season.

> TCU won the rebounding battle by a 40-29 margin. The Frogs pulled down 40 rebounds for the first time in seven games dating back to the Feb. 17 overtime win over New Mexico.

Individual Notes
> Adrianne Ross broke the TCU career record for field-goal attempts on a running layup with 3:01 remaining in the first half. The shot marked the 1,504 of her career, moving her past former teammate Sandora Irvin (2002-05).

> Lorie Butler-Rayford passed Janice Dziuk (1986-90) into second place on TCU's career rebound chart. She now has 780 career boards.

> Butler-Rayford (980 career points) moved to within 20 points of cracking the 1,000-point mark for her career.

> Micah Garoutte totaled a career-high five blocks, each in the first half. Garoutte's previous high of two was recorded Feb. 20 at Colorado State. She fell only one block shy of the MWC Tournament single-game record of six set by SDSU's Paris Johnson Friday.

> Moneka Knight moved into a tie for third place on TCU's career games played list with her 127th appearance. Knight matched Irvin on the list.

> Danielle Nunn reached double figures in scoring for the eighth time this season.
