The Utes were the 10th ranked opponent that TCU has faced this year and became the second top-25 victim for the Lady Frogs. TCU claimed the season sweep of the Utes to give the Frogs four MWC series sweeps on the season. Utah connected on its first six 3-point attempts and built a 22-9 lead within the game's first 7 ½ minutes. TCU registered its first lead of the game at the 19:27 mark after Ashley Davis buried two free throws to put the Frogs on top 35-33. Davis scored in double figures for the second straight game, tying for the team high with 15 points. Natasha Lacy recorded her seventh double-double this season and the 10th of her career. Lacy's putback with 2.1 seconds on the clock gave the Lady Frogs the one-point win. TCU's 62 points were their fewest in a victory this year. TCU was 0-9 previously when scoring fewer than 65 points. The Lady Frogs snapped Utah's seven-game winning streak. The loss dropped the Utes to 12-2 at home this season. JimAnne Hejny scored a season-high eight points.
