Stone arrives at TCU following coaching stops at Hutchinson Community College, Frank Phillips College and the University of Alaska-Anchorage.
During her stay at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, Stone guided the Dragons to a 59-7 overall record and a No. 5 national ranking. HCC also claimed the 2010-11 Jayhawk West Conference Championship.
A 2008 graduate of Kansas State with a bachelor's in social sciences, Stone previously worked as an assistant coach at Frank Phillips College following one-year as a student assistant for the Seawolves.
The Goodland, Kan., native, began her playing career at Colby Community College where she earned All-Jayhawk West and All-Region VI honors after averaging 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 2005.
Following a brief stint at New Mexico State, Stone transferred to the University of Alaska-Anchorage where she was voted the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year as well as earning second-team all-conference honors.
With the Seawolves, Stone broke the program's single-season record for 3-point field goals made (76) and attempted (237), while leading UAA to a national tournament bid. Stone, who ranked No. 26 in NCAA Division II with 2.6 3-pointers per game, also broke the school and conference single-game records for 3-pointers made (8) and attempted (21).
