* Was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Gary Broadhead at Teurlings Catholic High School in Lafayette, La.
* Was an all-district and all-state selection in Louisiana.
* Played on the district championship team in each of her four seasons.
* Led her team to the finals of the 2000 Louisiana State Tournament.
* Was named all-parish and district player of the week during her career.
* Also played volleyball in high school and has a sister, Addie, who plays volleyball at LSU.
