Latricia Lovings became a big factor for TCU in the middle this past season and is already one of the elite shot blockers in the entire country. The Fort Worth product has improved her offensive game and should continue to get better for the Frogs in the years to come.
2011-12 (SOPHOMORE)
Lovings, who ranked No. 25 in the NCAA in blocked shots on the season, had a breakout sophomore season as she moved all the way into No. 3 all-time in career blocked shots with now 89 blocks ... Posted the fifth-best single-season total in school history in blocked shots with 68 on the year ... Recorded the second-most blocks in a single-game of any player during conference play with six against UNLV on Jan. 18 ... Posted 5+ rebounds and 3+ blocks in five out of the 14 conference games, including 11 games of two or more blocks and three contests of four or more swats during that stretch ... TCU's leading rebounder overall and in conference play, Lovings led the Frogs on the glass in six of the 14 MW games, including a game of 11 against Air Force in which she had eight defensive boards ...
