2013-14 Season Preview
Donielle Breaux saw significant minutes during the 2012-13 season and should see her minutes increase in the program's second year in the Big 12 Conference. An athletic guard who can dribble drive, Breaux is one of the most athletic players in the league and poses match-up problems with her ability to take smaller guards off the dribble and defend.
2012-13 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
Breaux recorded career-high 14 points against Georgia ... She was one of the key contributors to TCU's win over Oklahoma State, scoring 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting, while going 4-of-5 from the charity stripe ... Was entered into the starting lineup and immediately made her presence felt, scoring in double-figures twice, including 10 against Corpus Christi ... Made her TCU debut against Sam Houston State, scoring nine points and three rebounds in 16 minutes against the Bearkats ... She also posted four steals at Kansas State ... Breaux sat out the first seven games due to NCAA transfer rules ... Overall, Breaux posted three games of double-figures in her first full season of Division 1 basketball.

Breaux, who won't be eligible to play until the second semester for the Purple and White, is a 2011 graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas ... Breaux, who was tabbed the 35th-best guard in the country by ESPN Hoopgurlz.com following her senior season, will bring plenty of experience to the TCU roster, having played in 11 games for KU against the likes of Creighton, Wake Forest, SMU, Wisconsin and Oral Roberts ... A 2011 McDonald's All-American nominee, Breaux averaged 24 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.2 steals, 3.7 assists and 2.3 blocks per game in her final season of play at Elkins High School ... She earned several honors, which include district offensive player of the year and first team all-district, while also being a two-time Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) all-region selection.
