FORT WORTH, Texas - Radu Barbu and Cosmin Cotet fell in a hard fought match to Baylor's No. 5 duo of Matt Brown and David Galic 8-6 at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on Monday.

With the loss, the TCU men completed their play in the Wilson/ITA Regional Championship, and wrapped up the fall season.

"I was really pleased with how everyone competed," said TCU men's tennis head coach Dave Borelli. "I just want to set the tone for a really good spring.

I've been trying to learn more about the players and this was a good first step."

TCU's first match of the 2007 spring season will take place in Houston, Texas, for the Rice Indoor Tournament being held on Jan. 19-21.
