FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team slipped two spots to No. 70 nationally in the latest Fila/ITA poll released on Monday, while Cosmin Cotet and Kriegler Brink both remained in the individual polls.

The Horned Frogs (10-12, 6-2) grabbed the ranking after going 1-1 at the MWC Championship last weekend. TCU breezed past Air Force before falling to UNLV in the semifinals by a score of 4-0.

Cotet, a junior from Iasi, Romania, broke the top 100 for the first time in his TCU career, moving up six spots to No. 97 nationally. Cotet recorded a straight sets victory over Air Force's Robby Alexander last weekend at the conference championship, and was in the third set against No. 71 Elliot Wronski of UNLV when the match was called.

The duo of Cotet and Kriegler Brink climbed a spot to No. 42 in the nation after going 2-0 last weekend against pairs from Air Force and UNLV. The tandem has notched a 16-4 record playing at the No. 1 position this season.

The 2007 NCAA Division I men's tennis selection show will take place on Tuesday at 1:30 CT on ESPNEWS.
