Frogs head to Dallas to face Mustangs

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 23 TCU men's tennis team heads to Dallas on Tuesday at 2 p.m. to take on rival SMU in the 50th meeting between the two institutions.

SMU holds a 25-24 advantage in the all-time series which dates back to 1974, but the Frogs have won five of the last six matches including a 6-1 victory on April 13 of last year.

TCU (9-7) is coming off a tough 4-3 loss to 34th-ranked Rice on Saturday. After surrendering the doubles point, the Frogs won three-straight singles matches to take a one-point lead in the contest. The Owls battled back to take the final two points and the victory.

The Frogs are 5-4 versus the Mustangs under head coach Joey Rivé.

SMU (13-5) defeated Conference USA foe Memphis (5-1) on Saturday and bounced Army (7-0) on Sunday to win its third match in five chances.
