FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 23 TCU men's tennis team hits the road for contests at No. 55 Tulsa and Oklahoma State on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The Frogs are 6-1 on the season after dropping a tough 5-2 match to South Alabama on Tuesday.
Tulsa (8-3) comes into the weekend after falling to No. 12 Texas 5-2 on Sunday. With three players ranked in the top 100 for singles play, the Golden Hurricanes look to repeat last season's success when they upset the Frogs 4-3 on April 3 in Fort Worth. TCU leads the all-time series 7-5.
After the Saturday date with Tulsa, TCU heads to Stillwater to battle 27th ranked Oklahoma State. The Cowboys (4-1) are fresh off a 5-0 defeat of Missouri on Sunday and are 5-5 all-time versus the Frogs after knotting the series with a 4-2 win in Fort Worth on April 16 of last season.
The Frogs leave the friendly confines of the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center for the first time this season where they are 6-1 and 55-15 (.786) all-time under head coach Joey Rivé.
Action for Saturday is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., while Sunday's matchup is slated for a noon start.
