FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team welcomes No. 23 Texas Tech on Friday to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The match is the 31st meeting between the two institutions with the Frogs holding a commanding 28-2 record.

With a win, TCU would record a 3-0 start for the fourth consecutive season. The Frogs posted wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UT-Arlington, both by a score of 5-2, to open the 2006 season.

Currently ranked 41st in the ITA poll, TCU plays its next five matches at home where it is 51-14 (.785) under head coach Joey Rivé.

In the last matchup on March 27, 2005, the Red Raiders edged the Frogs 4-3 in Lubbock. TCU has never lost back-to-back matches in the series.

Match time is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start. Due to weather concerns, the match will take place indoors.
