FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team moved up eight spots from No. 50 to No. 42 in the current ITA rankings released Wednesday. The Frogs sit at 1-0 on the season after defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 5-2, in the season opener Saturday.

The Frogs used a sweep in doubles play and victories in four-of-six singles matches to oust the then-No. 36 Islanders. TCU now holds a 3-0 all-time series lead versus Texas A&M-CC, and Saturday's meeting was the first between the schools with Corpus Christi holding a higher rank.

TCU returns to the courts Wednesday, when it plays host to UT-Arlington. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
