FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's tennis team will make the short trip to Arlington tomorrow to take on the UTA Mavericks in the Frogs' first road dual match this season.

The Frogs are coming off a home-opening double header last weekend in which they beat both Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Saint Louis 6-1.

The Frogs are 2-0 on the season and will return home to host the TCU Shootout this weekend, February 1-2, in which Arizona State, Pepperdine, TCU and Washington will be participating.

Freshman Rafael Abreu has blown away the competition, first at the Rice Invitational on January 16 when he went 5-0 to take the men's open singles "B" bracket title. Then, against Texas A&M- Corpus Christi he defeated Shazeb Niazi to move to 6-0 on the season.

Another freshman, Jacopo Tezza, has also yet to lose this season after defeating both competitors from A&M-Corpus Christi and SLU. He is now 2-0 on the season.

For both Abreu and Tezza, this is their first semester at TCU and at an American school.
