TCU Men's Tennis Shocks Wichita State

FORT WORTH, Texas - The 35th ranked TCU men's tennis team defeated the unranked Wichita State Shockers Thursday afternoon 5-2. On a cloudy, windy day the Frogs won the doubles point and took four of six singles matches from an aggressive WSU team.
TCU took the first two doubles matches, to take an early 1-0 lead. The first singles match to finish was on court three, where TCU sophomore Fabrizio Sestini defeated Leonardo Ramirez of WSU 6-4; 6-2.
Sestini was followed by Daniel Scholten's winning match over Angelo Manns of WSU 7-5; 6-0.
The Frogs battled wind, cold and an aggressive Wichita State team. The Frogs are now 9-5 overall and remain 3-0 in C-USA Action.
TCU will take on SMU in Dallas on March 26 at 2:00 p.m. and will return to home play against Tulsa on March 29 at Noon.
