Was a 7-6 (4) winner with Daniel Sanchez over Aurelien Tave and Matt Westmoreland of Texas A&M Corpus Christi ... Was sidelined for the rest of the season after being injured during the singles portion of the Corpus Christi match.
FALL 2011 (JUNIOR)
Transferred to TCU from New Mexico State prior to the start of the season ... Picked up a singles win in the fall at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships ... That was a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Baylor's Robert Verzaal ... Was twice a winner during the Southwest Conference Shootout, knocking off two players from Rice in straight sets ... Had three doubles wins in the fall, with two of them coming with Daniel Sanchez as his partner.
2010-11 (SOPHOMORE AT NEW MEXICO STATE)
The native of Venezuela led the 2011 Aggies with 27 singles wins ... Earned second-team All-WAC accolades ... Also compiled a 20-9 doubles ledger.
2009-10 (FRESHMAN AT NEW MEXICO STATE)
Named to the 2010 Second Team All-WAC in doubles and as a 2010 ITA Scholar Athlete. Superlano played during the spring, going 13-6 overall during the dual match season. Superlano moved between the No. 4 and 6 spots, earning a winning record in each position. Superlano went 1-0 in No. 3, 6-5 in No. 4, and 6-1 in No. 5. Superlano's best streak came during the early spring, when he won 12 consecutive singles matches. Superlano lost only one match between the months of February and March. Superlano won singles dual matches against players from No. 23 Arizona on Feb 12 and against No. 53 UNM on Feb 20. Superlano played doubles with Jim Brouleau during all of spring. Superlano and Brouleau went 11-8 together, racking up wins against teams from No. 58 Texas A&M-CC on Jan. 24, No. 53 UNM on Feb. 20, and No. 42 Hawaii on Apr. 15.
In 2006, Superlano helped his team win the Davis Cup, as well as earn a No. 1 team national ranking ... Superlano earned his highest ATP ranking in 2006 at No. 1056.
Orlando is the son of Orlando Superlano Sr. and Mariela Casique ... Hopes to major in business administration.
