JUNIOR (FALL 2005): Robert Gallman competed in four matches during the fall season...The Dallas product posted an impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory over David Herrera of Prairie View A&M at the ITA Regionals in College Station, Texas (Oct. 20-23).

SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Gallman battled injuries throughout the 2004-05 season...Competed in only two matches during the spring season...During the fall, he only competed in the Wilson/ITA South Central Regional Championships in Austin, Texas, over Oct. 22-25...Defeated Teddy Diblasi from Texas Tech in the first round by 6-1, 6-4 scores...Fell to Texas A&M's Zack Malmgren in the second round in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0...Played one doubles match at the regional with Jacob Martin, falling 9-7 to Rodrigo Gabriel and Hooney Shin from Rice in the opening round of play.

FRESHMAN (2003-04): One of Texas' best recruits, Gallman showed much promise for TCU during the fall and spring...Went 8-8 in singles and was 3-1 in dual matches...Was 1-0 at five singles and 2-1 at the No. 6 position...Notched a 4-6 slate in doubles, playing primarily with Andrew Ulrich...Lost his first collegiate match with Marcus Digliodo of Colorado, 7-6, 6-4, at the Baylor Intercollegiate Sept. 26...Three straight victories followed from there...The first was over Joe O'Findo of Texas-San Antonio, 7-5, 6-3, in the first round of consolation action the same day...Tas Tobias from Texas fell to Gallman next, 6-4, 6-2...Was tested by Garrett Snyder, another Longhorn, in the consolation round of 16, but Gallman pulled the three-set match out by scores of 7-6, 4-6, 6-4...The nation's No. 17-tabbed player, Baylor's Benjamin Becker, ended Gallman's stay in Waco, 6-1, 7-6(5)...Went down 6-0, 7-5 to UAB's Kristijan Mitovski in the first round of the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn., Oct. 3...Notched a victory in his next outing versus Blessing Bvunzawabaya from Prairie View A&M, 6-1, 6-1, at the ITA South Central Regional Championships in Fort Worth, Texas...Suffered a 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 setback at the hands of Texas Tech's Esat Tarik...Got another mark in the win column in the first round of consolation action, downing Armando Martinez from Texas-Pan American by a dominant 6-0, 6-0 count...A 10-3 third-set super tiebreaker loss to Shawn Ellison of Louisiana-Lafayette bounced Gallman from the tourney for good...Struggled in his final two match-ups of the season with Jason Hazley and Marvin Rolle of LSU and Texas A&M at the A&M Invitational over Nov. 7-9 in College Station, Texas...Gallman was dropped by Hazley, 6-1, 6-0, and Rolle by a 6-4, 6-2 disparity...Made his first appearance in a dual match Feb. 11 when TCU hosted Texas-Arlington indoors...Had little trouble downing Petri van Rensburg in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6 singles...Registered a key victory at six singles versus Jarrod Owen from No. 36 Florida State Feb. 22, defeating him 6-2, 6-3 in TCU's 4-3 triumph...Made his first appearance in doubles in a dual match situation March 17 when No. 31 Miami came to Fort Worth...Teamed with Hector Almada at the No. 2 slot since Jacopo Tezza had to sit out with a pulled groin...Picked up the win leading 2-0 when P.J. Passalacqua from the Hurricanes withdrew because of an injury...Played five singles since Tezza was out and Fabrizio Sestini was suffering from tendonitis in his knee...Registered a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Jeremiah Fuller to move to 3-0 in duals...Took on Ivor Lovrak from No. 2-rated Baylor March 30 at six singles...Suffered his first dual collegiate loss, 6-1, 6-0...Teamed with Jacob Martin for doubles against No. 12 Virginia April 4 in Charlottesville, Va...Lost to Stephen Rozek and Marko Miklo at the third spot, 8-6.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR: Helped St. Stephen's Episcopal School win the SPC Championship his freshman year before attending Pendleton High School in Florida...Picked up a Bronze Ball at the National Claycourts as a junior...Played for Texas' Junior Davis Cup team...Was ranked in the top 30 in the U.S. 14s, the top 60 in the 16s and the top 50 for the 18s...Held the No. 1 rating for the Texas 18s in 2002...Competed in over 30 international tournaments...Also took part in 30-plus national tourneys.
