SPRING 2012 (FRESHMAN)
Joined the Frogs in the fall and made an immediate impact in the singles lineup ... Posted a 4-1 mark in Mountain West play on his way to All-Mountain West accolades ... Went 13-8 overall during the spring, including closing the year on a four-match winning streak ... His first collegiate win was a 7-6, 6-4 win at Mississippi State ... Followed with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph the next day over Michael Thompson of Alabama ... Started his first four-match winning streak with a 6-3, 6-3 downing of Texas Tech's Vitor Manzini ... Continued with wins over Nicolas Moreno of UT Arlington, Junior Ore of Texas A&M and Carlos Bermudez of Arizona ... All of his Mountain West wins came in straight-set fashion ... Clinched TCU's win in the Mountain West quarterfinals with a 7-6 (4), 6-4 win over UNLV's Tamas Batyi at No. 2 singles ... Played sparingly in doubles, notching four wins against only one loss
