SPRING 2012 (SENIOR)
Made the most of his noise during doubles play for the Frogs ... Joined Will Stein for an 8-4 win in the season opener against Texas A&M Corpus Christi ... Also added an 8-6 triumph over the No. 3 squad from Mississippi State with Stein ... Won back-to-back matches over Texas Tech with Nick Chappell and Santa Clara with JT Sundling ... Went 3-2 while playing the No. 1 doubles position ... Had a three-set win over Charlie Alvarado of UNLV during the singles season to key a Frog win in conference play.
FALL 2011 (SENIOR)
Had a strong fall season in singles, claiming five wins ... Won 6-2, 6-4 over Hall Fess of Arkansas at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational ... Advanced to the round of 32 at the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals with 6-1, 6-0 wins over Mischa Nowicki of SMU and Shane Kyral of UT Pan American ... Added two wins at the Southwest Conference Shootout ... Won his first three doubles matches of the fall with Daniel Sanchez at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational ... Added another win with JT Sundling at the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals.
SPRING 2011 (JUNIOR)
Saw the majority of his playing time during doubles action ... was 10-5 overall in doubles action ... enjoyed a 10-4 record doubles ledger alongside partner Cameron Nash, including a 4-2 clip against the conference ... the duo split their wins between the No. 2 and No. 3 position, going 5-2 at each spot ... the tandem enjoyed a pair of three-match winning streaks from March 31-April 3 and April 13-27 ... posted a 2-1 record in singles, picking up wins at the No. 6 position at Oklahoma and Air Force.
FALL 2010 (JUNIOR)
Posted a 4-6 record in singles and 3-4 ledger in doubles action ... defeated New Mexico's Joe Wood at the Racquet Club Invitational and took down Alex Pavlov from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to open the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate Invitational ... also notched wins against players from Iowa and Prairie View A&M ... all three doubles wins came with partner Zach Nichols.
SPRING 2010 (SOPHOMORE)
Saw his first spring dual-match competition for TCU as a sophomore ... stepped into TCU's singles lineup late in the season following an injury to Slah Mbarek ... earned a big singles victory at the No. 6 position over Daniel Hwang (6-4, 6-4) to clinch the squad's MWC tournament semifinal win over No. 1 seed BYU ... played extensively at doubles, posting a 13-9 individual record ... settled in at the No. 3 spot late in the season with teammate Zach Nichols for the final 15 matches ... the pair won 10 of its final 14 matches, including four straight to end the season.
FALL 2009 (SOPHOMORE)
Went 2-3 in singles and 0-2 in doubles during fall tournament competition... posted an opening-round singles victory at the Wilson/ITA Texas Regional Championships in straight sets over an opponent from Lamar... opened the fall with a first-round victory in the singles B draw over Tulsa's Rusty Turpin (6-4, 6-2) at the HEB Baylor Invitational.
2008-09 (REDSHIRT)
Did not compete while redshirting after transferring to TCU in the summer of 2008.
PRIOR TO TCU (INDIANA/ARIZONA STATE)
Chappell went 0-1 in singles during fall tournament competition and 1-1 in doubles... paired with Hoosier teammate Michael McCarthy for an 8-3 victory over Kentucky's Shane Collins and Will Beck at the Ohio State Invitational... spent the fall of 2007 at Arizona State... competed in one event for the Sun Devils in the fall, winning all four of his matches at the UC-Irvine Pre-Regional Challenge.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS
Played No. 1 singles for three years at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Ind.... named team MVP his senior season... won the John Shirley Invite three consecutive years
