SOPHOMORE (2003-04): Ended the season with a 13-15 record in singles and went 22-15 in doubles with Fabrizio Sestini...He and Sestini ended the season ranked No. 34 in doubles...Won the ITA South Central Regional, defeating Benjamin Becker and Ivor Lovrak of Baylor in the final, 8-5...By claiming the tournament crown, they received an automatic bid to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich...It was the first time since 1996 that TCU sent a doubles team to the elite event that only takes 16 doubles teams from around the country...Recorded a win over the nation's No. 1-ranked doubles team of Lester Cook and Ante Matijevic of Texas A&M Feb. 18, 8-4...Earned Conference USA Player of the Week accolades following his Feb. 18 performance...Moved up to No. 10 nationally in doubles, giving the Frogs their first top 10 duo since 1997 with Ashley Fisher and Jason Weir-Smith...Got an easy 8-3 doubles win over Jeremy Clark and Matt Mayer from No. 56 Louisville in the championship of the C-USA Shootout Feb. 29...Had a key victory in singles versus Peter Scharler from No. 28 Washington March 7 at the ASU Quad at five, 6-3, 6-4, that helped TCU pull off the 4-2 victory...Upset the nation's No. 14 doubles tandem of Rylan Rizza and Nick Meythaler from No. 12 Virginia April 4 in Charlottesville, Va., by a 9-7 count...Defeated David Canudas and Dylan Mezey from Southern Miss, 8-2, in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship April 16...Picked up TCU's only victory in doubles against No. 33 Clemson May 22 at the NCAA Championship in Tulsa, Okla...Downed the No. 37-ranked pair of Jarmaine Jenkins and Nathan Thompson, 8-5...Had his match with Damiisa Robinson at five singles suspended when the Tigers clinched the match.

FRESHMAN (SPRING 2003): Notched a 20-5 record overall and was 15-5 in dual match play...His 80.0 percent winning percentage tied for the sixth highest in a single season in school history...Played the Nos. 3-6 slots, with most of his action coming at six singles where he was 9-2...Abreu had one of the better campaigns in doubles for TCU, going 13-12...Won the Rice Indoors and downed Rice's Cody Jackson, 6-4, 6-4, to win the title...Fell in three sets to No. 105 Ivor Lovrak from Baylor, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, April 2 at six singles...Posted victories in the semis and final of the Conference USA Championship April 18 and 19 at No. 6 singles against Jorge Escallon from South Florida and Hannu Piiroinen from Tulane...Helped TCU advance to the second round of the NCAA Regionals by upending SMU's Mauck for the second time of the season at the No. 5 slot.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR: One of the top players from his native Venezuela, Abreu was ranked as high as No. 8 doubles in the world for the ITF juniors and as high as No. 81 in singless...Held ATP Tour rankings in both singles and doubles.
