Rochester, MI (February 25, 2001) -- The TCU men's swimming and diving team finished the season by competing in the NIC Championships in Rochester, Michigan on the campus of Oakland University. The Frogs swam to a 4th place finish overall, behind champion SMU, Cincinnati, and Oakland University.

In the pool, the Frogs had strong showings by Scott Adkins, the 4th place finisher in the 100 breaststroke (:56.34), and Aaron Ewert, who took home 3rd place honors in the 100 backstroke (:49.48). The Frogs' 800 freestyle relay team of Clint Barghi, Ryan Mammarella, Josh Pipes, and Jeff Parkinson garnered a 4th place finish in the event, with a time of 6:47.65.

The Frogs complete the season with a 5-5 dual record. The lone senior of the team is Ryan Mammarella, who finished his TCU career at the meet.
