FORT WORTH, Texas - The Horned Frogs will have a quick turnaround following their tournament title on Thursday as TCU prepares for the Callaway Collegiate Match Play beginning on Sunday at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz.
The Frogs will enter the Callaway Collegiate Match Play as the ninth-seed and will square-off against eighth-seeded USC in the first round of action. The winner of the Frogs and Trojans will square-off against the winner top-seeded Stanford and 16th-seeded Indiana.
Included in the Frogs' bracket will be fourth-seeded Arizona State versus 13th-seeded Iowa along with fifth-seeded UCLA versus 12th-seeded Colorado State.
In the bottom portion of the bracket, third-seeded Texas A&M will square-off against 14th-seeded Arizona while sixth-seeded UNLV will meet 11th-seede and defending champions Middle Tennessee State. Seventh-seeded Texas Tech will meet 10th-seeded San Diego while second-seeded Washington competes against 15th-seeded New Mexico in the final first-round pairing.
The Frogs' lineup will be identical to the one that captured the National Invitational Tournament in senior Travis Woolf along with junior Tom Hoge, sophomore Johan de Beer and freshmen Daniel Jennevret and Pontus Gad.
The first two rounds of the Callaway Collegiate Match Play will be held on Sunday at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain while the final two rounds are set for Sunday.
