Men's Golf in Fourth Place With Two Rounds Nearly Complete

With the first two of three rounds nearly complete, TCU sits in fourth place among 17 teams at the Cleveland Golf Classic at the North Ranch Country Club. The Horned Frogs shot a three-under 285 in the first round to sit in a share of fifth place and have moved up one spot as round two nears completion.

Senior Adam Meyer is leading the way for TCU. He had a team-best four-under 68 in round one, which matched the second-best round of any player on Monday. In his second round, Meyer is two-over par through 17 holes.

Senior Stephen Polanski had a one-over 73 on the opening 18 holes and is currently one-over-par heading into the final two holes of his second round.

Juniors David Schultz and J.J. Killeen are tied for 44th place after two-round scores of 152 (+8). Schultz had a 75 in round one and a 77 in round two, while Killeen had a pair of 76s.

Final round play in the 54-hole tournament will take place on Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on www.golfstat.com. Current scores are also available on the website.
