Woolf reached the match-play portion of the 2007 Cotton States Amateur... tied for 25th overall at the 2006 Palmetto Amateur... earned a top-10 showing at the 2007 Texas Golf Association North Amateur.

A local product of Fort Worth, Woolf attended Arlington High School.
