• Named first-team all-Western Athletic Conference.
• Was the top Frog at the NCAA Central Regional as he tied for 13th place individually with a three-day score of 218.
• Narrowly missed the chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual.
• Registered his best finish of the year when he tied for third at The Ridges with a 54-hole sum of 212.
• Followed his third-place finish with a 19th-place tie at the Inverness Intercollegiate and a share of eighth place at the NCAA Preview.
• Earned Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Month honors after his stellar play in the three September tournaments.
• Nabbed a share of fifth at the Waikoloa Intercollegiate when his final-round 68 propelled him into the top 10 with a total score of 214.
• Claimed an eighth-place tie at the Las Vegas Collegiate after a 54-hole card of 214.
• Tied for the 16th spot at the WAC Championships with a 229 as the Frogs claimed the conference title for the first time since 1998.

1999-00 (Redshirt)

1998-99 (Freshman)
• Participated in 12 tournaments, averaging a 75.50 over 36 rounds.
• Was TCU's best finisher (T-16th) at the Taylor Made Red River Classic in Dallas.
• Used rounds of 72, 71 and 70 in that event to finish in the top 20 for the first time in his career.
• Was the top TCU performer in the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate meet in Birmingham, Ala., when he tied for 19th with a 215, shooting a season-low 69 in round two of that event.
• Won two of his three meetings at the Rolex Intercollegiate Match Play Championships.
• Logged a seven-over par 223 to place 27th at the Schenkel Invitational.
• Placed 26th at the U.S. Collegiate with a 218 (77-71-70).
• Experienced the NCAA Regional as a true freshman, scoring a 54-hole score of 235.

• Played at neighboring Paschal High School where he was coached by former TCU basketball star Herb Stephens.
