• Played in all 13 events for the Bears, which included Baylor's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championships, where he placed in a tie for 27th.
• Led the Bears in stroke average with a 71.84 over 38 rounds.
• Recorded five top-10 finishes and three top-20 finishes.
• Had nine sub-70 rounds on the season.
• Won back-to-back tournaments, the last fall tourney of 2001 and the first spring tourney of 2002.
• Tied for first at the Henry Griffits Classic with a 10-under score of 202 for his first collegiate victory.
• Shared first place at the Rice Invitational after carding a three-under-par 213.
• Took fourth place at the Border Olympics with a seven-under 209.
• Recorded his lowest round of the year, a 65, at the Big 12 Championships where he finished tied for 15th place with a three-round score of 218.

2000-01 (Freshman Year)
• Was the only freshman, and one of only two team members, to play in all 13 tournaments on the season.
• Registered a 75.22 stroke average over 36 rounds of play.
• Netted one top-10 and one top-20 finish on the season.
• Finished fifth at the Udamon SW Classic after posting a 217 (71-74-72), which led the team to a tournament victory.
• Tied for 18th place at the Belmont Invitational with a score of 219 (+6).

High School Highlights
• Was a three-year letterman at Waco Covenant Academy.
• Was a three-time individual state champion (1998, 1999, 2000) at TAPPS Division IIA.

Amateur Highlights
• Garnered fifth place at the 2003 Southern Amateur.
• Snagged 10th place at the 2003 Monroe Invitational Championship after also taking 10th at "The MIC" in 2002.
• Finished first in his 2002 U.S. Amateur qualifier (65-64=129).
• Shot 78-69 at U.S. Amateur in August of 2002 but did not qualify for the match play portion of the tournament.
• Managed a top-10 finish at the 2002 Southern Amateur, placing seventh after shooting 69-74-72-69 (284).
• Placed first at the Baylor Invitational with an impressive 54-hole score of 200 (69-64-67).
