Eli Cole redshirted in his fourth year on campus while recovering from a leg injury.
2010-11 (JUNIOR)
Cole moved into TCU's regular lineup as a junior, playing in 11 of TCU's 14 events ... earned his first career top-10 finish at the Navy Spring Invitational, tying for sixth place (+5) ... posted the lowest round of his Frog career with a 68 during Round 2 of the Amer Ari Invitational in Waikoloa, Hawaii ... the event also marked his lowest career three-round score at 211 (-5) ... tied for 31st place at the NCAA Colorado Regional (+1), matching teammate Pontus Gad for the third-best showing on the squad ... ranked No. 377 in the final Golfweek/Sagarin national individual ratings, fourth among all Frogs ... tied for 26th at the Mountain West Conference Championship, helping TCU finish as the only team in the field with all five golfers among the top-30 individuals ... also finished below par at the Desert Shootout (-3) ... posted nine rounds under par during the season ... earned a pair of academic honors, being named Academic All-MWC and a Cleveland All-America Scholar.
2009-10 (SOPHOMORE)
Cole saw action in six tournaments during his sophomore campaign where he recorded a 75.17 strokes average over 18 rounds of competition ... finished 26th overall in his collegiate debut at The Prestige at PGA West following a three-round score of 221 (74-69-78), including a 3-under-par 69 in the second round of action ... finished 21st overall at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational following a score of 225 (74-76-75) ... notched a score of 221 (73-77-71), including a 1-under-par score of 71 in the final round, en route to finishign tied for 38th overall at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational ... tied for 43rd overall at the NCAA Central Regional Championships at The Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas, following a score of 225 (74-77-74).
2008-09 (FRESHMAN)
In his first season with the Frogs, Cole did not appear in any varsity tournaments.
AMATEUR HIGHLIGHTS
Cole recorded five consecutive top-10 showings during the 2007 campaign ... captured the 2006 Los Angeles City Shootout Championships ... garnered Club Champion honors on two occasions ... notched a score of 141 (72-69) at the 2007 U.S. Amateur Qualifying Championships ... recorded his best finish of the 2006 season at the Medicus Preseason Junior Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., where he tied for 17th overall after recording a three-round score of 225 (76-76-73).
