AMATEUR HIGHLIGHTS Julien Brun arrived at TCU as a high-impact recruit from Antibes, France, who made a strong name for himself on the international amateur circuit ... arrived TCU with a world amateur ranking of No. 63 and was the top-rated amateur in France ... won an individual championship in late March 2011 at the European Nations tournament in Sotogrande, Spain, where he carded a final-round 67 to post a three-stroke victory ... followed up his European Nations title by tying for second place in the Lytham Trophy at Royal Lytham and St. Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England in April 2011 ... finished five shots off the pace during severely adverse conditions that saw the tournament champion finish at +19 ... also traveled away from his home continent several times as a junior ... played once on American soil in December 2010, finishing third at the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship in Coral Gables, Fla. ... concluded the month of February 2011 playing at the South African Amateur Stroke Play Championship in Mount Edgecombe, South Africa, tying for 21st place.
