Teague Receives Notice From Rivals.com

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU cornerback Jason Teague has been named to Rivals.com All-JC Transfer Team.
A senior from Carthage, Texas, Teague signed originally with LSU before playing one season at Tyler (Texas) Junior College.
Teague, a second-team All-Mountain West Conference selection, tops the Horned Frogs with seven pass breakups and nine passes defended. He has two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and two forced fumbles.
Teague has started all 12 games in his first seasons as a full-time starter. He started two games last year as an injury replacement for Nick Sanders.
TCU is leading the nation in total defense (215.4 yards) for a third straight season. The Horned Frogs also have the nation's top pass defense in allowing just 126.3 yards per game. No other team is within 20 yards (Miami, Fla., 146.3).
Only one opponent has reached 200 yards passing on TCU this season. Eighty-nine of the 120 FBS programs allow an average of at least 200 yards per game in the air.
TCU opponents have completed just 48.0 percent of their pass attempts and have thrown 12 interceptions with just 10 touchdowns.
The Horned Frogs also lead the nation in scoring defense (11.4 points), fewest first downs allowed per game (11.3), opponent third-down percentage (21.9) and three-and-outs forced per game (6.4). TCU is third in run defense (89.2 yards).
