The TCU Horned Frogs returned to practice on Monday, working out for an hour and a half at the University of Houston practice facilities. The Frogs are preparing for their Friday date with Texas A&M in the second annual galleryfurniture.com Bowl.

"We're excited to be here," said TCU head coach Gary Patterson. "We're excited about playing in front of a big crowd. We've had great ticket sales in Fort Worth for this game and we know there will be a lot of TCU fans in the dome on Friday."

"It will be a tough challenge," noted quarterback Casey Printers. "Texas A&M is a very good team. This is a great opportunity for our seniors to go out with a bang. The key for us is to not turn the ball over and execute our offense. We know our defense will come to play," he added.

"It's great to be here," added senior linebacker Chad Bayer. "We're starting a tradition at TCU, so it's great to go to a bowl game again. We'll try to play Texas A&M like we've played everyone else - one play at at time. These games usually come down to defense," he continued. "Whoever has the ball last will probably win the game, so it's important we get the ball back into the hands of our offense."

Both teams began the day at the Bear Creek Park and 4H Club where they enjoyed a barbeque lunch and rodeo. TCU offensive tackle Brady Barrick showd off his vocal and guitar skills by entertaining the audience with a couple of songs he wrote. The Frogs concluded the day's activities with a team dinner and gift exchange.

The Frogs return to the University of Houston on Tuesday for another practice. They are scheduled to work out from approximately 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. In addition, Coach Patterson will be joined by over 20 players on a late-morning visit to Hermann Children's Hospital where they will spread the Christmas cheer.

The Horned Frogs (6-5) and Aggies (7-4) will meet Friday, December 28, at 12:30 p.m. in the galleryfurniture.com Bowl in the Houston Astrodome. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN with Mark Malone and John Cooper describing the action.
