Dawson Ranks High For His Speed

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU wide receiver Skye Dawson has been ranked by ESPN.com as the sixth-fastest player in the nation.
A junior from Mesquite, Texas, Dawson won the 60 meters at the 2010 Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 6.69. He was also part of a Horned Frog 4x100 meter outdoor relay team that won the MWC title and ranked in the top five in the nation.
As a senior at Dallas Christian School, Dawson ran a 10.43 to win the Texas Relays 100-meter dash. He also won the state title in the 100, 4x100 and long jump.
Dawson placed sixth on the Horned Frogs last season with 12 receptions for 170 yards (14.2 average). He had at least one catch in nine games, including a season-best four receptions for 69 yards in a 30-21 victory over Oregon State.
