FORT WORTH, Texas -- Four Horned Frogs have been named to the Dave Campbell's Texas Football 2011 Postseason All-Texas College Team with defensive end
Stansly Maponga being tabbed the State's Best Defensive Lineman.
In addition to Maponga, TCU's All-Texas College Team honorees were linebacker Tank Carder, offensive guard Kyle Dooley and return specialist Greg McCoy.
As a sophomore this past season, Maponga led TCU with 13 1/2 tackles for loss, nine sacks, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. His 55 stops were sixth on the Horned Frogs and tops on the defensive line.
Maponga was a first-team all-conference selection. He also apppeared on the Ted Hendricks Award Midseason Watch List, recognizing the nation's top defensive end.
