CARROLLTON, Texas -- TCU's Jerry Hughes, Marshall Newhouse and Daryl Washington received top individual honors as Dave Campbell's Texas Football announced its 2009 Postseason All-Texas College Team.

Hughes, a two-time consensus All-American, was named the Best Defensive Lineman and Defensive Player of the Year in the state. Newhouse and Washington were tabbed the Best Offensive Lineman and Best Linebacker, respectively, in Texas.

Joining Newhouse on the first-team offense was fellow tackle Marcus Cannon. Quarterback Andy Dalton and placekicker Ross Evans were second-team picks on offense.

In addition to Hughes and Washington, cornerback Rafael Priest and return specialist Jeremy Kerley were first-team selections on defense. Linebacker Tank Carder and cornerback Nick Sanders were second-team choices.

TCU led the way with four first-team picks on defense and six players overall on that side of the ball.
