Playing his final game for the Horned Frogs, Washington totaled a team-high 10 tackles, including 3 1/2 for loss, in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. It was the fifth double-figure tackle game for Washington on the season, including the final three contests.

The Horned Frogs held Boise State, the nation's top-scoring team, to just one offensive touchdown and 317 yards of offense.

Washington will play in the Jan. 30 Senior Bowl and attend the NFL Combine. He was a semifinalist for the Dick Butkus Award, recognizing the nation's top linebacker.

Washington's 109 tackles on the season were the most by a Horned Frog since 2004 (Martin Patterson, 131).
