HOUSTON -- Eleven TCU football players spent part of their bowl trip at Houston's DePelchin Children's Center, visiting with youth and teens who have faced social and emotional crises.

Representing TCU were safety Brian Bonner, wide receiver Marcus Brock, quarterback Andy Dalton, linebacker Robert Henson, safety Stephen Hodge, center Jake Kirkpatrick, placekicker Chris Manfredini, offensive guard Giles Montgomery, defensive tackle Cody Moore, linebacker Jason Phillips and center Blake Schlueter.

TCU cheerleaders were also present and performed cheers for the kids.

The Depelchin Center visit was just another part of the Texas Bowl experience, which was ultimatley highlighted by TCU defeating Houston 20-13 on Dec. 28. It marked the Frogs' third consecutive bowl victory.
