BRISTOL, Conn. -- TCU placekicker Drew Combs has been selected to ESPN college football analyst Mark May's All-Mayday Team.

The All-Mayday Team, chosen by May, honors college players who have shown a tremendous amount of toughness and determination throughout a season and/or career.

Combs is the second Horned Frog in the last three seasons to be named to the All-Mayday Team. Former nose tackle Jared Kesler was on the 2005 squad after playing with a torn ACL.

Born with a left arm that ends just below the elbow, Combs was the Frogs' kickoff specialist this year. The sophomore from Houston earned the job after winning a competition in preseason camp.

A straight-on kicker, Combs had six touchbacks while assisting on two tackles.
