Before the TCU football team won its third consecutive bowl game on Dec. 28, the Horned Frogs received a unique taste of Texas leading up to the game.

From barbecue and boots to calf roping, TCU players and coaches had a festive bowl experience prior to their ninth bowl game in the last 10 years.

The fun-filled week, which was highlighted by a 20-13 victory against Houston, got started with a trip to George Ranch Historical Park.

The Frogs, along with the Houston Cougars, took part in Rodeo Bowl 2007.

Competition between the two schools, a barbecue feast, and campfires highlighted the event.
