A two-year letterman and veteran mainstay on the defensive front... enters the fall in a second-team role at left end behind 2005 Mountain West Conference sack leader Chase Ortiz... is also third-team at defensive tackle... a former prep fullback... one of the strongest players on the team... holds the TCU weight room record in the broad jump (10-1) for defensive linemen.

2005:
Played in all 12 games as a reserve defensive lineman and long snapper... tied a season-high with two tackles, including one for a loss, in the 27-24 EV1.net Houston Bowl win over Iowa State (Dec. 31)... also had two stops in the 48-10 victory at Air Force (Oct. 22)... combined on a tackle for a 4-yard loss against the Falcons... recovered a fumble in the 28-14 win at Wyoming (Oct. 8)... had a tackle in the season-opening 17-10 victory at Oklahoma (Sept. 3).

2004:
Played in all 11 games despite dislocating his left shoulder during two-a-days... credited with 17 tackles, including 11 solo stops... recorded 4.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, including three sacks... had a season-high four tackles against Southern Miss.

2003:
Played on special teams... appeared in just one of the first nine games (Arizona), then played in each of the final four contests... did not record a tackle.

2002:
Redshirted as a true freshman.

Played fullback for coach Terry Goode at Northwest High in Justin... earned three letters in football, four in track and one in powerlifting... named team captain and Most Valuable Offensive Player as a senior... earned first team all-district and all-county honors in both 2000 and 2001... gained 1,168 yards rushing as a senior after running for 976 yards as a junior... was a member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Area 75 list... named his school's MVP in track after competing in the 400 and long jump... selected TCU over Iowa State and North Texas.
