2007: Made his first six collegiate starts with the Frogs going 4-2 in those contests ... tied for 10th on the team with 37 tackles ... totaled four stops, including one for a loss, as he made his first start in the season-opening 27-0 victory over Baylor ... took part in his first two sacks as part of five stops in the 24-12 win over Colorado State ... came back the next week with a career-high eight tackles at Wyoming ... recorded a sack as part of six stops against Utah ... also totaled six tackles, four solo, in a 21-7 decision over SMU ... had a tackle for a loss at Stanford ... posted at least one stop in 10 of the 13 games.
2006: Saw action in all 13 games... contributed in a reserve role at defensive end as well as on special teams... took part in tackles in road victories over New Mexico and Colorado State... had solo stops against BYU and Utah... moved from linebacker to defensive end during spring drills.
2005: Lettered as a special teams performer and reserve linebacker... recorded tackles in wins over UNLV (Nov. 12) and Iowa State (Dec. 31).
2004: Started the 2004 fall drills at safety but was converted to linebacker... missed some of the fall camp after having a shoulder surgically repaired.
High School: Versatile athlete who displayed a nose for the football at nearby North Crowley High... earned Associated Press honorable mention all-state honors in Class 4A... intercepted nine passes and recorded 89 tackles as a safety... caught 12 passes for 188 yards and a TD as a wide receiver... also was the team's placekicker and punter... helped North Crowley to its first-ever state title... was an all-area pick as a junior... member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Area 75... coached by Mike Pappas... selected TCU over Colorado State and Purdue.
