2001: The Waco product earned second team all-conference honors after finishing second on the squad with 80 tackles... an incredible 25 of those tackles accounted for 108 lost yards... led Conference USA and tied for fourth in the nation in tackles for loss, while his 108 yards was the second highest single season mark in school history, behind only Aaron Schobel's 113 yards in 1998... also led the team with six sacks, which tied for sixth in the league, and added four quarterback hurries... notched 5 1/2 tackles for losses totaling 43 yards in the win over conference champion Louisville, including 3 1/2 sacks for 27 yards, earning Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week accolades... his efforts helped the Frogs set a school record by holding the Cardinals to -47 yards rushing... started and finished the season in impressive fashion on national TV... tied for the team lead with eight tackles including four for losses that totaled 16 yards in the opener at Nebraska... recorded a game-high 17 tackles, including six for losses in the galleryfurniture.com Bowl vs. Texas A&M... recovered a fumble in the endzone at SMU for his first career touchdown.
