2012: Played in 12 games, starting at linebacker in 10 of them ... second on the team in tackles with 79 (45 solo, 34 assists) ... also second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss ... has two sacks ... made five tackles in the season opener with Grambling State ... had a career-high 12 tackles (eight solo) in the win at Kansas, including two tackles for loss, both of which were sacks ... his effort earned him Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week ... followed that with an eight tackle, including seven solo, performance against Virginia ... he again had two tackles for loss against the Cavaliers ... made five tackles at SMU ... had eight stops (four solo) at Baylor and nine (four solo) against Texas Tech ... three of those tackles against the Red Raiders were for loss ... posted seven solo tackles and two assists and a tackle for loss at Oklahoma State ... made five tackles, four solo, at West Virginia and three in the season finale with Oklahoma ... recorded eight stops including a tackle for loss against Michigan State.
