Senior linebacker who saw significant playing time in 2002... enters the fall as the projected starter at the "Mike" linebacker position opposite Martin Patterson... excellent against the run... knows the techniques and schemes as well as anyone, just needs to stay healthy to have a big senior season... has made one career start.

2001: Suffered a slightly torn pectoral muscle while lifting weights prior to the start of 2002 fall camp... underwent surgery and missed the season opener at Cincinnati... returned in week two at Northwestern... it was his first action since the second game of the 2001 season, as he missed the remainder of that campaign with a torn ACL in his right knee... made 24 tackles including 16 solo stops... was in on nine tackles for loss including a pair of sacks... intercepted a pass at East Carolina.

2001: Was a starting linebacker in the season opener at Nebraska... recorded four tackles... suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in Game 2 at North Texas and did not play again during the season... underwent knee surgery on September 6.

2000: Recorded four tackles in five games.

1999: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: First-team Class 3A selection by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram... was the District 9-3A MVP... a three-time all-district pick and two-time all-state selection... posted 422 career tackles including 10 sacks in three seasons... four-sport letterwinner at Bridgeport High, earning letters in football, basketball, baseball and track... a regional qualifier in the mile relay... prep coach was Danny Henson... made an early commitment to attend TCU.
