Hampered by a knee injury throughout the season which limited him to just six contests... was the starter at center in the season opener versus Northwestern, playing for the injured Chase Johnson... was injured in that contest and missed the next two games... played in the following three games, then missed the next three with a sore knee... saw action in each of the season's final two contests.
2003:
Saw considerable action along the offensive line, including his first career start at center in the Fort Worth Bowl game against Boise State.
2002:
Played in each of the season's final 11 games at the center position behind starter Chase Johnson.
2001:
Redshirted as a true freshman.

Two-time all-district selection at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler... was a Dave Campbell's Texas Football Super Team lineman... received all-East Texas honors as a junior... received two letters in football and one in powerlifting... coached by Mike Owens... selected TCU over Baylor and Vanderbilt.
