TCU-Kansas Ticket Pickup Procedures For Students, Faculty and Staff
Nov. 21, 2003 FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Athletics Department is reminding fans of the ticket pickup procedures for students, faculty and staff members regarding the TCU-Kansas men's basketball game, which will be played on Monday, Dec. 1 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets to see the Horned Frogs and the sixth-ranked Jayhawks will be at a premium, and therefore will be distributed to students, faculty and staff prior to the men's basketball season opener against Texas-Arlington this Saturday, Nov. 22. Doors to Daniel-Meyer Coliseum will open at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis until the allotment is gone. To pick up a ticket, students must present a valid TCU student identification card, while faculty and staff must show their season sports pass. Students, faculty and staff may pick up one additional ticket with a second valid TCU ID or season sports pass. As always, the ticket to the game is not a reserved seat; it is for general admission into the student and faculty/staff section. Subject to availability, students, faculty and staff may also purchase additional TCU/KU tickets for $18 apiece at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum ticket office starting Saturday evening, Nov. 22. Those tickets, which are reserved seats, must be purchased at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum with a valid ID card. A new student policy also will go into effect this season. Students must now have their ID cards swiped at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum student entrance to gain admittance for all games.
